The Lord Blessed us two years ago with our little Wyatt David!!!! Where has the time gone? They grow so fast! He still need to be that little baby! He thanks that he is older then he really is. I don't thank that he knows that he is just 2 years old!!!

This past Thursday was a BIG Day in the Cicillian house!!!! Landon started PRE-SCHOOL!!!! We can't believe that he is old enough to be in Pre-School. He still needs to be the little boy playing on the floor! Zach and I have done good with him starting, but we thank Wyatt is the one that does not like his Bubba being at School!! Thursday and Friday Wyatt keep calling for his Bubba. He even was crying.

IT'S A BOY

We went yesterday to have the ultrasound to see how the baby is doing and to find out what we are having. Every thing looked very good and as you can see by the title we are having another boy. His name will be Wyatt David Cicillian. God has been so good to the Cicillian's family. It is like Zach put it, "We must be doing something right raising a boy because God has gave us another." Yes, I would love to have a girl, but when we fond out, I did not care one way of the other if it was a boy or a girl. All that I wont is a healthy baby. It is like my Doctor, Dr. Wright said when he came in the room yesterday ,"God chooses" and he is so right. God is the one that is in control of everything, and He has blessed us with one son and now he is blessing us with another.

(I know it has been a while. I have not had a lot to blog about and by the time that I thank about getting on the computer I am so tired that I go to bed and say I will do it tomorrow. )

Well as you can see Landon has a BIG BOY BED. He is getting so big. He loves his new room. He will sleep in it unlike his crib that we could not get him to sleep more than a hour in, but now he sleeps in his BIG BOY BED all night. Yes there have been a few times that we have let him come get in bed with us, but it is not till about 6:00 am that he does that. Unlike before when he was sleeping all night with us.

We are so happy to let everyone know that we are expecting again. We went to the Doctor today and I am 8 weeks and 1 day. My due date is February 18, 2010. All I can say is thank you Lord. We have been praying about this for sometime now. It seamed that every time that it seamed right something would come up that would make it seam like the wrong time. We just keep praying about it and the Lord would work out what ever came up. Through all of this I have leaned even more then before that I have to trust in the Lord and in HIS TIME he will answer our pray. I just have to thank the Lord for all that he has done for this family. Now if I can just get over this nausea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our 5 Year Anniversary

On May 22, 2009 we have been married for 5 years. So for this Anniversary we wonted to do something vary nice. So Zach and I went to stay at the Inn on Biltmore. We stayed somewhere close because this was the first time that we would be living Landon over night with out one of us with him. We got to go to the Biltmore House and the Gardens during the day Friday. Then Friday Night we went and had a nice supper at the Bistro. Saturday morning we got up and went and did some more on the estate that we did not get to do no Friday. I had a very nice time and I thank my husband for making this Anniversary so nice. I have a wonderfully husband that does so much for our family so that I am able to stay at home with our son. I thank the Lord for sending Zach into my live. I don't know what I would do with out him. His is everything to me.

Snow

Well, I know it has been sometime since I posted anything, sorry. I don't like to post if I don't have pictures to go with what I am posting about. So this morning I took some pictures of the snow that came yesterday and thought I would show everyone how much we got. This is the most snow that we have got this winter. We got about 3 inches yesterday about noon and that malted off. Then we got hit again later that afternoon with about 3 more inches. So all together we got about 6 inches here at our house.

This was on the back porch and I had sweep it off once.

2008 Skyland Awards Banquet

We went to Zach's Awards Banquet this past Saturday. They have the awards banquet every year in January to give out awards to the firefighters for what they have accomplished through out the year. It starts off with us having a very nice dinner. After we have eat dinner they start giving out the awards. They give out awards for Fire Prevention Presentation, Honor Guard, Training award, Promotional award, Badge Pinning, Presidents Award, Years of Service, Ten year ring Presentation, Lifetime Achievement Award, and then the Firefighter of the year Award. This year Zach got awards for Fire Prevention, Training, and Promotional. Then the best Award was when he got 2008 Firefighter of the Year. When they started to give this award out they had two people stand up and say something about the person. Zach not only got a Plauq , a Fire Bell, but also they had a helmet that has a firefighter painted on it by one of the men he works with. I am so proud of Zach for getting this award.

Christmas 2008

Well, can you believe that another Christmas has passed, and it was Landon's second one. It just seems like yesterday that it was his first Christmas and he was so little. This year was so fun. He knew more of what was going this year then last year. He helped make cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve (sorry I did not take any pictures of us doing that. We got too in to it to take time to get one.) Then when we were putting out the cookies for Santa we had Landon do it and as he would pick up a cookie to put on Santa's plate he would take a bite out of it and then put it on the plate. Then on Christmas morning when we got up and looked at what Santa brought for him and if he had ate what we put out for him. There was only a bite of cookie left on the plate. As we started opening our presents Landon would go over to the plate and look at the piece of cookie that was still there. Finally he had had all that he could take and got the piece and ate it. Landon raked in on the toys. Here are the pictures that I took with the new camera that My loving and so sweet husband Zach got me for Christmas. He also got me a TomTom that I ask for. Landon got me the Book Multiple Bles8ings by Jon and Kate Gosselin. So I would say that Santa was good to Landon and me this Christmas. Hope everyone had a good Christmas.

Fall Fun

Well, We had a little Fall Fun on Friday October 31. This is Landon's first Halloween. We let him go pick out a pumpkin at the farmers market. We took it home and Dad had the job of cutting it open for us. Then Landon had the job of getting all the seeds out of it (with a little help.) Then Dad did the cutting to make the face. After we had all that done we then got Landon ready as our little Lion for his first time out going trick-or-treating. We only go to friends and family. So the first stop was at some friends from church, Sheila and Jamie's house, they had a pumpkin bucket full of candy for him. We then went to another friends house and he got a small bag there. Then it was time to go see the family. We went to Nana's, Mimi and Granddaddy's, Mike and Karen's and Charlotte's. He had a blast. By the time we got home and got his bath he was ready for bed and out for the night.

Digging Potatoes With a Little Helper

Well the other day we dug our potatoes and had a little more help this year then before. That is to say there was more dirt and rocks in the buckets then potatoes. So I thought I would let y'all see our little man helping his Granddaddy pick up the potatoes. He had such a blast. I wish I would have took a picture of him when we came in. Let me just say he was covered form head to toe with dirt.

The Market Tote

We got a pattern for this super cute, reversible Market Tote at the Asheville Quilt show. So this past Thursday Denise and I went to Greenville to some quilt shops that we love and got some fabric not just for one tote but for two totes. I got one of mine done on Saturday. I took it to church on Sunday and everyone loved it and said they would like to have one. Here are some pictures of the one that I got done. I am hoping to get the other one done sometime this week and will post it when I do.

NC Moutain State Fair 2008

Well the NC Mountain State Fair was just as good this year as it always is. We all just love when it is time for the fair. I look forward to the fair every year because it reminded me of my first date with Zach. Landon and I got to go two times. We went on Monday with Grandma and Pie. Then on Friday Zach, Landon, Grandma and I all went. Friday was the anniversary of our first date five years ago. We can't wait till the fair in 2009.

A Long Night In the ER

Well, last night was not a night of fun. We got to spend over 5 hours in the ER getting Landon's looked at. We were up at my uncle Mike's house celebrating his birthday and Landon fell into a child's rocking chair. He hit just above his left eye. To me as a new Mom it looked a lot worse then it was. Zach was at work so I called him and had him meet us at the ER. We got there around 9:00pm and did not get seen till well after 1:00am. When we finally got seen Landon was asleep, but all they did was use starry strips to close it up. When we finally got home it was almost 3:30 before I got to bed. He doesn't even know there is anything above his eye.

Labor Day at DollyWood

We spent Labor Day this year at DollyWood with some family. Zach's Mom, Denise aka Grandma and Dad, David aka Pie got to go with us. Landon and I got up bright and early Monday morning and drove out to Grandma and Pie's house where Zach was already at. We all rode together. Zach driving, Pie shotgun and Grandma, Landon, and Me in the back of our car. That was an adventure in its self seeing that Denise can get car sick sometime, but we can all say that she did very well. Once at the park we rode the trolly from our car to the park. Once at the park we then were on our way to having some fun and we just didn't have fun we had a BLAST......So here are some pictures of our Labor Day at DollyWood. Hope you enjoy.

OUR LITTLE BOY IS GETTING SO BIG!!!!!!! He loves to be outside. We don't know what we are going to do this winter. He has just learned how to smell things and he loves to smell flowers. Storage Building Continued

Well, The Storage building is complete except for staining it. Zach had my Papaw come over and help him get the rafter for the roof built. My dad as well as Kevin from church came to help. They also help Zach to get the rafter up and the plywood on the roof. Then my dad and brother Jon help him put the shingles on. Zach built the doors. We already store some of Landon's toys in it. Now at Christmas we can get Zach some tools to fill up his building.

We have tyred to let Landon eat corn off the cob before and he would have nothing to do with it.. Till the other night when we had some out of the garden for dinner. My mother-in-law was over and she ask if he could have an ear that was already cleaned off. We told her that he would have nothing to do with it but we could give it a try. Asheville's Quilt Show 2008

My mother-in-law, Landon, and I got to go to the Asheville Quilt Show this past Saturday. We were so amazed at the quilts. We both said that we know nothing about quilting now that we have seen the quilts that were in the show. We are hoping to join the Quilt Guild and maybe we can get as good as the others. OK! I know that I said that I would post about our trip to the Aquarium and try to post everyday of our Vacation. Well as you can see, That didn't happen! We were having so much fun for me to worry about blogging. We had a very very good time and did not want to come home. Sorry it has took be till Wednesday to get this posted, but I have not been home much this week. I had things to do and we are having VBS at our church this week. Second Day of 2008 Vacation

Well, It is the second day of our vacation. We are having so much fun. Today Zach went fishing on the pier (sorry no pictures form that), and Landon and I went and played on the beach. Then later in the after-noon when Zach got bake we went to the pool to swim. Landon could care less for the pool he would rather be on the beach playing in the sand. I will have more pictures tomorrow. We are going to take Landon to Ripley's Aquarium.

Youth Group's Trip to Kentucky.

We took our youth group on a trip to the Creation Museum up in Kentucky. We left on Friday, June 27 and drove up there. We went out for supper and then went to the hotel and went to bed. Then on Saturday Morning, June 28 we went to the Creation Museum. We spent the day going through the Museum. When we were done there we then drove back home. We have a very good group of kids in our Youth Group. They were good on the trip and had a blast. So here are some pictures of the trip.

All Men Need A Storage Building

All men need a Storage Building to but there tools and stuff in, and my Handy Man Zach has not had one. So for the last two years now he has been looking at buying one. He has looked every were and when he found one that was the size that he liked it would cost more then he wanted to spend. Then he would find one we could afford and it would not be the size he wanted. So about three weeks ago he called me and said, "I am on my way home and I have the stuff to start building my building. I was so excited for him. I have been telling him he should build one his self for about a year. It is going to be just what he wanted and he built it himself. I am posting some pictures of what he has a done so far. He is working on it as I am typing this post so I will have some more pictures in the days to come.

We were out paying a bill near where Dad works. So we went to see him. Landon loves to go and see Dad at work because Dad lets him play on the fire trucks. He loves to act like he is driving them and look at all the stuff that is at the fire station. He also like to see his Dad. He loves him so much and misses him when he is at work.

Our Family Garden

For all my life my family has grown a garden. My GrandJohn loved to work in the garden as well as my Dad does today. We enjoy the garden through out the summer, as well as can and freeze the crops we harvest. We grow Potatoes, Tomatoes, Corn, Green Beans, Onions, Squash, Zucchini, Cabbage, Peas, Cumbers, Lettuce, and Peppers (hot and sweet). When I was growing up I did not have much to do with the garden, but this year I have been more interested in gardening and learning what I can from my family. You might think that all that needs to be done is just plant what you want and let it grow, but there is a lot that goes in to gardening. You have to get the soil ready by plowing the soil, then harrowing it, then we use a lay off plowed to lay off rows to plant the seed. We also rotate our crops each year so that they can grow better. My family plants by the signs of the moon. When you do that you get a better crop. Once we have planted the seeds and they are now plants the work begins. You then need to hoe and fertilize them and keep the weeds pulled. My dad will use his tiller to till some of the weeds and get the fertilizer in to the ground. Then once the crops start coming in we start the job of harvesting. We will either eat what we have harvested or start putting it up. I have some pictures of our garden and I will post some more pictures as the garden grows.

Today was our Anniversary. We have been marred for 4 years. I can't believe it has been that long. I don't know what I would do with out my husband. He does so much for our family so that I can stay at home with our son. I love him so so very much..... So any way.... We went to DollyWood to celebrate. Mother's Day!!!!

Sunday was Mother's Day. This is my second Mother's Day and I just love being a Mom. We had a very good day. I got a gift that is worth more then anything in the world and that was seeing my son Landon who is almost 14 mouths old get up with the kids at church Sunday morning and sing "This Little Light of Mine". He loves to sing just like his mom. Zach and Landon got me a hat that I can use for gardening and when we go to the beach. I have also posted what my Mom got me for Mother's Day. She took some pictures of Landon the other day and framed them for me. Now I have to decide where in the house to put them. I would have posted a picture of Zach preaching Sunday Night but I don't have one. Sorry!! I had a very very good Mother's Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For my birthday back in December we got Season Passes to Dollywood. So we finely go to use them on Zach's birthday. We went with Zach's sister and her husband.(NO KIDS ALLOWED) We had such a good time. Here are some of the pictures.

Today Landon got his first hair cut. Priscilla that goes to church with us cut it for us. He did such a good job. Better then we thought he would do. He does not look like baby anymore.

Our Little Dirt Dobber

You can tell that Landon is all boy. He loves to get dirty. So the other day we went outside to do just that. PLAY IN THE DIRT. We took our trucks, bucket, and shovel to the garden to play. He had a blast. He got it in his hair and in anywhere else that he could get it. He has been trying to walk so one of the picture is him trying to walk in the dirt. He is not a baby anymore.

I just love this time of year. It is getting warmer out, the trees are starting to get green, birds are singing, and the flowers are blooming. I took some pictures of my flowers that have bloomed and the creek behind my house. All the flowers are from bulbs that we planted over the last two years. My Tulips are almost ready to bloom so when they do I will post some pictures of them.

Landon's First Birthday

One year ago today was the birth of our son Landon John. He came into this world on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 7lb 6oz. I am a little sad that he is a year old, but you can not keep them little for ever. He is gotting so big. He does not like to be held like he did when we came home from the hospital. All that he wont's to do now is be getting in to something. So to celebrate his first birthday we had a party for him with some of our family and friends. I Love Sunflowers

Any one that knows me knows that I love Sunflowers. I had them in my wedding, I have them in my house, and I even have a Sunflower tag on my car. So of course when I found a cake in my Nana's Taste of Home "Best Ever Desserts" magazine that looks like a Sunflower I fell in love with it, and is so simple to make. All that you do to make it is make a two-layer cake and then frosted the top and the sides with chocolate icing. Then on the top placed chocolate chips in large circles, (to make the seeds of the Sunflower) you started using mini-chocolate chips in the middle and then move up to the bigger chocolate chips putting them very closely spaced together, covering the top of the cake. You need to live about 2 inches at the edge for where the Peeps will go that makes the Sunflower pedals. You will just use the Peeps just as the come out of the box and place them around the outside of the cake. So here is some pictures of my Sunflower Cake that I made.

Well, it has been a little bit since I have posted anything, and I am trying to catch up. I just don't have as much time on my hands as I use to. My now mobile son Landon (who will be 1 years old on March 16) is keeping me on my toes. He is crawling now and getting in to everything that he can. I don't have time to just seat and eat those Bon Bons that everyone thinks us stay at home mom's eat. He has five teeth now. Two are on the bottom and three are on the top. He is working cut the sixth tooth and it is on the top. So here are some picture. So enjoy.

Putting up our Christmas Tree

This is Landon's first Christmas. We can not wait till Christmas this year. So we put up our Christmas tree early this year. My mother-in-law (Mom O as I call her) as well as my mom and Dad helped Zach, Landon and me get it put up. We had so much fun. Talking and decorating the tree. I will put more pictures up as we get gifts under the tree. Landon did like the hat a lot.

Mother Daughter Weekend 2007

My Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law have been doing a Mother Daughter Weekend to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Well for the last four years I have gone with them, seeing that I am the Daughter-in-law. It gives us time together scenes I live in NC and they live in TN and we do not get to see each other as much as we would like. Also it gives us time away from the men and the kids. This year was a little different because we had the the two newest members of the family with us, Landon and Liberty. On the first day of our trip we go to the Craft show in Gatlinburg and then head to some of our favorite shops. Then that night we usually eat somewhere nice, and then head to the hotel to rest because on the 2nd day we hit the outlets and shop till we drop. This year we staying at "The Christmas Inn". It was a very nice 4 star hotel. We can't waite till next year. Here is some of what we did......
